The Vent 3 from PTR is designed specifically for 5.56x45 and is right at home on your favorite AR-15. This exceptionally quiet suppressor combines traditional silencer design with PTR's innovative Purposely Induced Porosity (PIP) technology. This tech allows for more surface area inside the full titanium silencer. The Vent 3 is amazingly light and efficient and still retains the strength required for hard use. Backpressure was also a consideration when developing the Vent 3. Reducing backpressure allows for less recoil, cleaner operation, less gas into the shooter's face, and a more reliable weapon. In addition to those benefits, it provides a quieter experience to the shooter than other high-backpressure offerings on the market. The 3D-printed monolithic body-to-core structure sets a new silencer durability and thermal resistance standard. The PIP technology lets PTR control strength, density, and thermal properties to optimize Vent 3's control over gas expansion. Even though PTR's 5.56 silencer is as light as a feather, it can withstand hard use and still sound great. A 1/2x28 direct thread mount is included and installed into the rear portion of the Vent 3's HUB/Bravo pattern. This thread pitch allows for numerous industry-standard mounting solutions, and the Vent 3 will most likely accept it, no matter what mounting choice you prefer.

Capitol is licensed to operate in all suppressor-friendly states and they will prepare your electronic ATF Form 4 application. Then, upon approval, ship your suppressor directly to your address.
An NFA item is a specific type of firearm or accessory, such as a suppressor, that is regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934. These items are legal to own in most states. However, they require a more involved process than buying a standard long gun or handgun. Including a federal background check, fingerprinting, a Tax Stamp, registration and approval from the ATF prior to an individual taking possession of the item.

Cancellation Within 30 Days of Purchase Where ATF Paperwork Has Not Been Initiated:
- 10% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Cancellation After 30 Days of Purchase Where ATF Paperwork Has Not Been Initiated:
- 20% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Cancellation After ATF Paperwork Has Been Initiated:
- 45% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Denials and Residence Changes
- In the event the Purchaser’s ATF transfer is denied, Capitol Armory will assist with one refiling at no additional charge to the Purchaser.
- In the event the Purchaser changes their state of residence after ATF paperwork has been initiated, a $95.00 fee will apply for refiling. This fee is waived for active-duty military service members with Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.
