Capitol is licensed to operate in all suppressor-friendly states and they will prepare your electronic ATF Form 4 application. Then, upon approval, ship your suppressor directly to your address.
An NFA item is a specific type of firearm or accessory, such as a suppressor, that is regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934. These items are legal to own in most states. However, they require a more involved process than buying a standard long gun or handgun. Including a federal background check, fingerprinting, a Tax Stamp, registration and approval from the ATF prior to an individual taking possession of the item.
Cancellation
Cancellation Within 30 Days of Purchase Where ATF Paperwork Has Not Been Initiated:
- 10% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Cancellation After 30 Days of Purchase Where ATF Paperwork Has Not Been Initiated:
- 20% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Cancellation After ATF Paperwork Has Been Initiated:
- 45% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Denials and Residence Changes
- In the event the Purchaser’s ATF transfer is denied, Capitol Armory will assist with one refiling at no additional charge to the Purchaser.
- In the event the Purchaser changes their state of residence after ATF paperwork has been initiated, a $95.00 fee will apply for refiling. This fee is waived for active-duty military service members with Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.

- All shipped items (including but not limited to fingerprint kits and accessories) and digital downloads (including but not limited to trusts) are non-refundable.
