The AR500 Armor Tactical EPIK is the standard for MOLLE based medical kits designed with the sole purpose of treating traumatic bleeding injuries. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Our Tactical EPIK is compact, portable, and designed to be attached to your MOLLE compatible plate carrier, rifle bag, or backpack. This kit includes the necessary tools to treat life threatening bleeding wounds (gunshots, knife/stab wounds, or other serious bleeding injuries including arterial bleeding). Conveniently packaged and pre-sorted, we still leave room for expansion and your personal touch.
The Tactical EPIK MOLLE pouch can be unzipped quickly and features an adjustable retention cord which prevents the pouch from falling all the way open when unzipped. This creates a stable platform and allows immediate access to the internals of your kit in mounted positions. An Internal pocket and elastic straps house the Tactical EPIK's compressed gauze, trauma shears, tape, and medical gloves. The hemostatic agent is stored in the interior pocket; with enough exposed to quickly grab when the pouch is opened. The multi-purpose emergency bandage, chest seals, and compact tourniquet are immediately available and ready to deploy as soon as the kit is unzipped. Three rows of Velcro MOLLE webbing line the front with the included removable Velcro matching color medical patch and a front pocket with zipper closure. Tourniquet mounts are located on each side of the Tactical EPIK pouch. Tourniquets can be mounted via a dedicated MOLLE pouch or via the UV resistant rubber bands which allow rapid deployment.
