

















German Walther P38 9MM Pistol military issued .This classic German made Walther P38 pistol is chambered in 9mm and is credited as being the first double action military use pistol. These imported pistols were made after WWII and eligible to ship to Curio & Relic FFL holders ( C&R FFL).These pistols were military issue pistols that were lightly used that were stored away and now offered to collectors! The Germans adopted this design in 1940 and it was widely used in WWII with production continuing until the 1980's. The Walther P38 is a short-recoil operated, locked-breech pistol. The barrel is locked to the slide using a wedge-shaped locking piece, which can tilt up and down below the barrel. The P-38's safety/hammer drop mechanism is very simple: if the hammer is cocked rotating the safety lever, on the left rear of the slide, downwards will lock the firing pin in place.It features an 8 round capacity.
