The original company, SIG Sauer GmbH, is a German company, formed in 1976 as a partnership between Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG) of Switzerland and J.P. Sauer & Sohn of Germany.  A separate company was founded in the US in 1985 with the name SIGARMS to import and distribute SIG Sauer firearms into the United States. This company was renamed SIG Sauer Inc. in 2007 and since 2000 has been organizationally separate from SIG Sauer GmbH.  SIG Sauer makes multipletyps of firearms including extremely popular rifles and pistols.

    The Sig Sauer MPX Pistol PMPX-4B-9 is chambered in 9mm and is a great semi auto tactical pistol. This model includes a closed bolt gas piston system that is extremely durable and reliable. This MPX comes with a high end Timney single stage trigger to aid in accuracy and shooting abililty. The MPX comes in a lightweight and compact size and has a 4.5" barrel, 22.25" overall length and weighs only 5lbs. The polymer grip is comfortable and can easily be swapped out. The Sig folding brace will also aid in stability and the ability to fold it makes it ultra compact and portable. If you like accessories the keymod rail will allow for the use of lights, optics or any other attachments you prefer. This MPX models modularity allows for the use of different barrel lengths and handguards, want to add a suppressor than thats no problem either. The Sig Sauer MPX makes a great lightweight and versatile tactical pistol that comes with Sig Sauer's long history of reliability and craftsmanship.
