The AP53 Pistol (HG7888-N) is a robust and compact firearm manufactured in Turkey by MKE and imported to the U.S. by Century Arms. Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, the AP53 draws inspiration from the iconic Heckler & Koch HK33 rifle, combining reliability, precision, and innovative design. While bearing a resemblance to the MP5 in design, the AP53 offers a more powerful performance due to its 5.56x45mm chambering. This versatility extends to its customization options, allowing users to equip a stock or brace to suit their operational needs.
Compact yet hard-hitting, the AP53 weighs 7.2lbs and features an 8.3-inch Cold hammer-forged chrome lined barrel, with an overall length of 22.3 inches. The MKE AP53 pistols feature the recoil assembly & buffer attached to the factory end cap. In order to install off the shelf stocks or braces you will need to install a captive recoil assembly, for HK53 pattern firearms, along with the rearward attachment.
