Grom 7.62x39 ammunition is manufactured in Poland by the Grom Ammunition Factory (GAF). It features original Polish military Berdan-primed steel casings, paired with a new lead projectile and a lacquer-coated finish for enhanced long-term storage. These rounds are meticulously manufactured for uniformity and cleanliness and come packaged in 50-round boxes. Military Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) style, these rounds feature a lead core encased in a durable copper jacket. This construction enhances penetration while minimizing barrel fouling, making them ideal for defensive & target training applications . GAF ammunition features a military-spec powder load, delivering superior performance compared to weaker civilian alternatives.
By combining historic Polish craftsmanship with modern quality control, Grom produces military-grade ammunition that meets U.S. civilian legal import standards. The GAF 7.62x39 utilizes military-grade steel cases & corrosive primers, ensuring superior long-term storage stability and reliable performance in extreme conditions, even after extended periods of storage.
About Grom Ammunition Factory
Founded in 2016, the Grom Ammunition Factory (GAF) specializes in the production of high-quality ammunition, primers, powder, and explosives. As the first privately owned small-caliber ammunition manufacturer in Poland to utilize in-house produced components, GAF has set itself apart in the industry. The company manufactures a wide range of calibers, including 9mm, 5.56, and .308, supplying military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters all over the world. In 2024, GAF acquired specialized equipment to begin production of the 7.62x39 round, expanding its distribution to the United States in 2025. GAF is currently exploring manufacturing other popular calibers including 5.45 x39.

Important Information
You must be 21 years of age to purchase ammunition. All ammunition orders will be shipped with Adult Signature Required for delivery to insure proper delivery to a person 21 year of age or older. Please make sure you read & follow the directions below before placing your order. You must be home to accept and sign for delivery or have it held at a UPS location for pick up. Any return orders are subject to return ship and restock fees.

California — We can ship ammo to a CA FFL, Ammo Vendor License Holder or FFL 03 with a COE. Customer must have the FFL, Ammo Vendor License or FFL 03 and COE emailed to us within 10 days of placing the order with the customers name and order number with it. Please ensure your dealer will accept the transfer of the ammunition prior to ordering.
