The Griffin Armament Bushwhacker 36 is a smaller version of their universal Bushwhacker 46. It boasts all the strengths of its larger sibling, but in a more compact package. While it can't do the 45-caliber projectiles, it can suppress everything else more efficiently. Able to silence everything from 22LR to 9mm and more, most other rifle suppressors can't even quiet down a fraction of the calibers the Bushwhacker can. The Bushwhacker's larger bore diameter allows it to be versatile and provides a lower backpressure environment. This translates to less blowback and less ejection port noise when used on semi-automatic rifles. The mount shares the same thread pitch as other suppressors and is compatible with any Bravo-style mounting system.
The Griffin Armament Bushwhacker 36 is a user-serviceable universal suppressor built for shooters who want one can for multiple hosts. It handles rifle calibers from .17 HMR to .357 Magnum (including .338 Lapua Magnum) and pistol calibers up to 9mm. The .36 caliber bore diameter provides flexibility across platforms while maintaining sound reduction.
Griffin's patented ECO-FLOW baffle technology reduces backpressure compared to standard designs, resulting in less blowback and lower ejection port noise on semi-automatic rifles. The system delivers 5-7dB improvement over similar-sized suppressors, according to Griffin Armament. At 7.2 inches and 15 ounces in rifle configuration, the Bushwhacker 36 balances suppression performance with practical field weight.

Capitol is licensed to operate in all suppressor-friendly states and they will prepare your electronic ATF Form 4 application. Then, upon approval, ship your suppressor directly to your address.
An NFA item is a specific type of firearm or accessory, such as a suppressor, that is regulated by the National Firearms Act of 1934. These items are legal to own in most states. However, they require a more involved process than buying a standard long gun or handgun. Including a federal background check, fingerprinting, a Tax Stamp, registration and approval from the ATF prior to an individual taking possession of the item.
Cancellation
Cancellation Within 30 Days of Purchase Where ATF Paperwork Has Not Been Initiated:
- 10% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Cancellation After 30 Days of Purchase Where ATF Paperwork Has Not Been Initiated:
- 20% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Cancellation After ATF Paperwork Has Been Initiated:
- 45% cancellation fee charged to Purchaser.
Denials and Residence Changes
- In the event the Purchaser’s ATF transfer is denied, Capitol Armory will assist with one refiling at no additional charge to the Purchaser.
- In the event the Purchaser changes their state of residence after ATF paperwork has been initiated, a $95.00 fee will apply for refiling. This fee is waived for active-duty military service members with Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.
