Handguns/Pistols

A handgun or pistol is a short barreled firearm designed to be fired with only one hand. The two most common handgun types in use today are revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. In most of the world, handguns are generally considered self defense weapons used primarily by police and military officers. However, in the United States and many other countries around the world, handguns are widely available for civilians and commonly carried for self defense, hunting and sport shooting. With the growing popularity of short barreled rifles and pistol stabilizing braces many SMG or "Sub Machine Gun" style pistols have come to market as well as AK47 Pistols, AR15 Pistols, and other Military style platforms.
