The newly released Omega Gideon Shadow (GS) Receiver. This allows you to build your UMP Kit into a recoil operated, closed bolt, lightweight, durable and easy to maintain semi auto pistol. Each receiver covers 3 of the most popular calibers in 9mm, .40 and .45 respectively. The end user can simply swap the barrel, bolt and magazine and the end user can change the caliber in a matter of minutes. The Omega receiver & your UMP kit yields a superior subgun range performer weighing in at less than 5 lbs. Each Omega GS receiver is made from a high impact glass reinforced polymer. A superior pistol platform providing enhanced strength, durability, light and nimble operation.
The Omega Gideon Shadow UMP Receiver is perfect for building your HK UMP parts kit into a working semi auto pistol or rifle.The UMP Design is a straight blow back closed bolt weapon that can easily be converted between 9mm, 40 cal and 45 ACP with just the change of the barrel, bolt and magazine. No other parts of the gun have to be changed or replaced to change the caliber. The pistol has a 7.87" barrel length weighing in at about 5 lbs. total weight, magazine unloaded. The receiver has an integrated rear hinge for a folding stock / arm brace. There is a rear sling attachment point on the left side of the weapon making for convenient single point sling attachment. With the optional front finger guard it allows for a two point sling attachment. The Gideon Shadow receiver is made of a high grade glass filled nylon giving it not only high strength but as well as giving it toughness, helping it to resist fractures and breaks if dropped.
