AK-47-polish Bayonet-Type II-6H4

These Polish 6H4 Type II bayonets are NRA rated very good to excellent condition and will show signs of minor storage and handling wear. All Grade "A" bayonets will come complete with bayonet, scabbard, hanger, insulator(frog), and pommel strap. Grade "A" bayonets also will have matching numbers on the hilt and scabbard(There may also be other numbers on these units but, those number will have been crossed out when these were re-arsenal-ed). The Polish 6H4 is an excellent example of the type II bayonets and would make a great additional to anyone's collection. These are made in Poland at the Radom factory and these are military surplus. These are a great fit for your favorite AK47 .

Brief historical/technical data:
The Polish 6H4 Type II is a copy of the Russian 6X4 bayonet, it differs by the absence of saw teeth on the blade spine. The Polish AKM Type II bayonet also represents a transition between the AKM Type I and Type II bayonets, mating the Type I scabbard with the Type II bayonet. These bayonets were designed for use with the 7.62 mm AKM's as well as 5.45×39 mm caliber including karabinek wzór 1988 Tantal Rifle (carbine model 1988 Tantalum) and 5.56 mm. NATO caliber karabinek szturmowy wz. 1996 Beryl [assault carbine model 1996 Beryllium]. In approximately 1972, the 6H4 bayonets were produced in large quantity, which likely lead to Poland’s continued use of the 6H4 bayonet into present day.
