The Mauser HSc semi-automatic 7.65mm pistol was introduced in Nazi Germany during World War II and manufactured until 1977.  Originally intended as a commercial pistol the HSc competed with the Walther PPK and Sauer 38H for Police and Military use.  They were procured initially by the Kriegsmarine (Navy) and later the Heer (Army) and Police followed suit.  HSc pistols used by the Luftwaffe (Air Force) or Waffen-SS were procured from Army and Police stocks.  These pistols have a semi-exposed hammer, double-action trigger, single-column magazine, and a spring surrounding the barrel.   The German Mauser HSc pistol makes a great addition to any military firearm collection.
