HK also developed modern polygonal rifling, noted for its high accuracy, increased muzzle velocity and barrel life. HK has used the operating systems for small arms blowback operation, short-recoil, roller-delayed blowback, gas operation via Short-stroke piston, and gas-delayed blowback.

    HK91, G3, PTR-91 Style Metal Grip Frame 

     

    Each German HK housing started out as a factory HK German select fire metal housing. Each housing has had the correct semi auto shelf installed. After the conversion each lower is refinished with the factory PTR black paint. Great for giving your G3 type rifle the old school look & feel. This gives you the look of a real G3 parked look while maintaining legal semi-auto status. Please note that not all clones have clean or consistent welds. Depending on variation on your receiver, minor fitting may be required. Most customers will find no fitting is required.
