These Imported Maadi kits are rated NRA excellent to like new condition They will also have the collectible Arabic Sandscript Markings on the barrel trunnion and leaf sight . These are very nice kits with a Wood Stock set and would make a beautiful rifle for the home builder .

The Egyptian Maadi AKM-47 is one of the most highly sought after AK47s ever produced. Egyptian Maadi AKM Rifles were manufactured by the Maadi Company for Engineering Industries Maadi-Cairo,Egypt. It is believed that all of the factory tooling/equipment was shipped to Egypt from Russia for production of a high quality rifle . This makes the Maadi highly desirable since they are known to be on par with Russian quality!
