The Russian Degtyaryov machine gun or DP-27 is a light machine gun firing the 7.62x54mmR cartridge that was primarily used by the Soviet Union, with service trials starting in 1927, followed by general deployment in 1928.It was nicknamed the Record player by Red Army troops because the disc-shaped pancake magazine and the top cover revolved while the weapon was fired. These rifles have been used in many conflicts around the globe and in more than 50 countries.

Original Russian Dp27 kits from WW2. All the kits date back to 1944. The kits are in excellent condition and match the numbers. They were refinished by Arsenals with a reblued on all components and stock refurbishment after WW2. The weapons history is obvious visually due to their rough machining, lack metal finishing, ugly welding, and hand stamping. They are not perfect, but they can still be assembled for mock-ups. The internals are in excellent condition. All surfaces of bare metal shine brightly, without corrosion or excessive wear. The stock retains its internal brush, which is why bluing is so good. The barrel was wheel-cut. The serial numbers of all the kits are three-digit. This kit is an excellent opportunity to restore a true relic from the second world war. Rated Excellent to Very Good. Markings can vary from one kit to the next. Does not come with barrel or receiver, Image of complete gun is a dummy gun showing what can be built from the kit and not what is in the kit itself. Sorry, no special requests. Since this kit ships with a working magazine the mag can not be shipped with the kit to restricted states. We will not ship the mag to another state or offer discounts or other special request for the removal of the magazine. No FFL needed, this is not a complete firearm.

Please Note : Due to the demilling process small parts like pins/springs may be missing and/or unserviceable. This can vary from kit to kit.

    Magazine Capacity Restrictions

Atlantic Firearms follows all state regulations regarding the sale of high capacity magazines. Due to multiple states and cities now enforcing various magazine restrictions and more coming we will not ship magazines that are restricted in your area with firearms to the states listed below. If the mag that comes with the firearm is not legal in your state or city the magazine will be removed from the shipment. We do not offer custom magazine requests to swap out, ship to another state, refund, pinning of mag, substitutions, dealer approval or other. Hopefully we will see changes to these laws and violations to our second amendment rights. We apologize for this but we simply cannot accommodate each and every magazine request with over 30 different laws, regulations and restrictions impacting states, cities and local jurisdictions throughout the country. It is the customers responsibility to be informed of your local laws prior to completing your purchase. Atlantic Firearms is not responsible for any issues that may arise with magazines shipped to you or your FFL dealer that may not be legal in your area due to a change in current laws.
