Antique Schmidt-Rubin 1889 Swiss Army bolt action service rifle. In use from 1889-1958. They use a straight pull bolt action that allows the user to eject the cartridge, cock the striker and insert a new round in one motion. It was also one of the first rifles to use copper jacketed ammunition and it has an effective range of 550 meters or 601 yards. The stock colors may vary. Bakelite charging handles may be chipped or cracked. Sorry no special requests. These are pre 1899 manufactured rifles and do not require an FFL. Surplus condition NRA rated fair condition.
