The patented push-down plate is found on the bolt carrier of the vz 58 Military762 as it's used throughout the Czech Small Arms (CSA), vz.58 rifles, and pistols. The patented 'pushdown' plate prevents misfires that may be experienced with other vz.58 firearms.
To be compliant with (18 U.S.C. 925(d)(3)), Czechpoint includes USA-made parts on the VZ 58 Sporter to reconfigure the firearm (legally) using a separate stock and pistol grip. All VZ 58 rifles that can use double stack magazines have (5) USA-made parts. This is in compliance with Title 18, U.S.C. Section 922(r). Five U.S.A. parts were used in the VZ 58 Military 7.62 Model rifle: sear, disconnector (both made of metal - 4140 Steel), trigger (glass-filled Nylon), magazine follower and magazine floor plate.
