The Palmetto State Armory KS-47 GEN2 16-inch Carbine Length semi-automatic AR15 rifle is chambered for 7.62x39 Ammo, not the traditional 5.56 ammo that is normally associated with the AR platform. This hard hitting firearm comes equipped with a 16-inch nitride-treated barrel w/ a 1-to-10 twist. It has an extended mag release located on the outside of the trigger guard to ensure safety while handling the weapon. This allows for an AK-47 style movement release, but also sports oversized paddles that allow fingertip release by your trigger finger.
