We've gotten a fair share of questions in regards to fitment when it comes to the WBP 5.56 30 Round AK47 Magazine. Here's just a quick little tip for getting it juuuust right for an m90 rifle chambered for 5.56 ammo.
When shooters want to use the WBP 5.56 magazine in their Zastava 5.56 M90, they might need to do a little filing. This will need to happen at the top-rear portion of the magazine.
It should be filed to a slight rounded angle (as pictured below). You can use a simple hand file to do this (don't forget to smooth it out a little if needs be).
This minor angle allows for the magazine, once the front-locking lug is in place, to lock back into the receiver without actually getting caught on the receiver edge or the center support rivet. You will also file the under portion of the lower notch. You just need to file this ever so slightly, so that it smoothly interfaces with the locking mechanism on the rifle.
It's as simple as that! We really hope this helps you out if you've been having fitment issues. As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at sales@atlanticfirearms.com
