The Romanian Type 2 bayonet is a copy of the Russian 6X4 and represents a transitional model between the AKM Type I and Type II bayonets. It pairs the Type II bayonet with the earlier Type I scabbard. The Romanian triangle-and-arrow factory mark closely resembles the Izhevsk Arsenal mark found on Russian models, adding to the confusion among collectors. The exact production numbers of the Romanian Type II Transitional bayonets are unknown, but they are significantly rarer than the Type I—making them a valuable and sought-after piece for collectors.

These are Genuine Original Yugoslavian Zastava Military Surplus M70 AK47 Bayonets fresh off the boat! These will fit all Soviet style stamped AK47, AKM, AK74's with bayonet lugs. Ideally matched with any Yugo M64, M70, M76, and Zastava ZPAP AK's with bayo lugs. These are very well made and highly durable. They sport a Black Bakelite scabbard and bayo handle. The blades are saw-back style and can be used for wire cutting.
