The Czechoslovakian VZ.58 assault weapon was first introduced to the military in the 1950s. This hybridized version of the AK 47 is a variant was a similar design rifle, but it had several major improvements. These included a milled receiver and lighter weight and a gas piston with a shorter stroke. VZ 58 rifles use the cartridge 762x39 and do not have interchangeable parts with the AK47 / AKM range of rifles. They are cool and collectible, perfect for DIY projects. The kit includes both a fixed stock set with the famous Beaver barf stock set . You will also need to buy a receiver & barrel in order to complete your build. There is no FFL requirement.
