These AK47 DAG-13 Barreled Receiver DIY Kits were built by Atlantic Arms MFG with a mixture of parts from Definitive Arms Romanian and the U.S. These are an Atlantic Exclusive and were built in limited numbers to showcase the Definitive Arms DAG-13 adjustable gas block and give our customers more options while saving some coin.

AK47 DAG-13 Barreled Receiver DIY Kit, Do it Yourself kit has all of the hard work done. You just need to add the finishing touches! This kit starts off with Original Military Surplus Romanian Model 1963 kits coupled with a 4150 Nitride Treated and threaded barrel. Atlantic Arms properly installs the barrel and Morrissey receiver and each kit is head spaced as well as checked for proper alignment. Atlantic also installs the DAG-13 Adjustable gas block/sight block combo, the DAKM Lite rail for mount tractional Kalashnikov style optics, and a custom front sight detent collar. This custom detent collar allows the user to mount tractional Kalashnikov muzzle devices via it's spring loaded plunger pin, just like if there was a sight base at the muzzle end. This creates a lighter front end then a standard AKM and with the Definitive Arms DAG-13 gas block/sight block combo this also reduces the sight radius for the equivalent of an AK104. Ultimately yielding, when completed, an excellent handling, versatile and reliable firearm.

The Definitive Arms DAG-13 allows for fine tuning of gas entering your system for recoil management, cyclic rate, shooting suppressed and weapon longevity. This part is a restrictive gas adjustment system so it does not vent extra gas, it actually will prevent surplus gas from getting into the gas system. Thus, resulting in a cleaner operation and better sound reduction, especially while shooting suppressed! This may also improve accuracy by reducing amount of gas impingement inside of block on low settings.

Since this is not a completed firearm it will ship to your FFL dealer designated as a Receiver, even though the barrel is attached. You will need to install fire control complete with springs, a safety selector, and furniture set. Please be mindful these are Military Surplus kits, they will show character and usage but are fully functional and solid. You can leave the metal surface with the original patina or refinish for a new look.

This is great way to save money and customize your build with the furniture and metal finish of your choice. Most of the parts used are Original Romanian import and the U.S. parts are the receiver, barrel, and gas block. Please be aware of this during your build process and make certain you are 922R compliant when the build is complete. Please note metal finish may vary from kit to kit. We do not offer any special request for markings, years, metal patina, matching numbers, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: If you live in a magazine restricted state we remove the hi cap mag and will be glad to substitute with a 10 round mag IF AVAILABLE. If a 10 round mag is not available we will remove the hi cap magazine from the shipment. We cannot ship prohibited magazines to out of state addresses. There will be no substitutions or discounts offered for removal of mags.
